Criticism

I thought this book was very well written. The way the characters and emotions were written is amazing! The plot was very well written also. The events in the story are very suspenseful and it makes you want to keep reading! There are only a few things i have a problem with. the part in the story when Jacob confesses his love for Bella is, in my opinion, not cool! Everyone knows that she is going to choose Edward. I know that this just adds suspense to the book but i still don't like it. I also think that when Jacob kisses Bella is not needed at all! I mean Jacob has already made Bella suffer through the realization that she loves him as well as Edward and that just makes everything so much harder. One thing that I really liked was when Bella FINALLY agreed to marry Edward! I thought the way that the epilogue is from Jacob's perspective was very cool. Even though I'm not too fond of Jacob I thought that he earned his time in the spotlight. This section really showed how much pain he was really going through seeing the girl that he loves choose his enemy. I really hope that Jacob "imprints"(love at first sight for a werewolf) I think he deserves it. I thought this book was very well written and there are many a

Other Information

The fourth book in the Twilight Series will be released on August 2nd 2008! It is titled Breaking Dawn.

The movie for the first book in the series Twilight is now filming and will be released in theaters December 12th I think.

If you have read the series or are just interested in the series you might want to look at this. I am insanely excited for this! Scroll down the the bottom of the page and click on the link to Midnight Sun Chapter 1. This is the first chapter to something Stephenie Meyer will at some point finish. Midnight Sun is Twilight from Edward's perspective. I am very excited about this because Edward can read people thoughts and he over thinks things all the time. I am excited to see his reasoning behind some of his decisions.

My favorite quotes!

" I'll be back so soon you won't have time to miss me. Look after my heart--I've left it with you." Pg 95

"'Isabella Swan?' He looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever-- every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"' Pg 460

"You are in trouble," I said slowly, emphasizing each word. "Enormous trouble. Angry grizzly bears are going to look tame next to what is waiting for you at home." Pg 149

"I was all braced for the wrath that was going to put grizzlies to shame, and this is what I get? I should infuriate you more often." Pg 186

"' I don't think I'm welcome anymore,' I whispered. 'Did you run over someone's cat?' he asked lightly" Pg 191

"Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who had ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love." Pg 195

"I was just wondering why you stabbed him. Not that i object." Pg 224

"If there were any was for me to become human for you-- no matter what the price was, I would pay it." Pg 273

"' And the sound of your heart,' he continued, more serious but still smiling a little. 'It's the most significant sound in my world.'" Pg 274

" Then he turned back to Jacob. 'But if you ever bring here back damaged again-- i don't care whose fault it is; I don't care if she merely trips, or if a meteor falls out of the sky and hits her in the head-- if you return her to me in less than perfect condition than i left her in, you will be running with three legs'" Pg 340

"' And if you ever kiss her again, I will break your jaw for her.'" Pg 340

"Emmett grinned. 'Fall down again Bella?' I glared at him fiercely. ' No, Emmett. I punched a werewolf in the face."Pg 342

"'But i thought it was a good representation,' he continued. 'It's hard and cold.' He laughed. 'And it throws rainbows in the sunlight.'
'You forgot the most important similarity,' I murmured. 'It's beautiful.'
'My heart is just as silent,' he mused. 'And it, too, is yours."' Pg 439

" He sighed. 'The clouds I can handle. But i can't fight an eclipse."' Pg 600

"'Rain's not the problem,' I grumbled. 'It just means that it's time to go do something very unpleasant and possibly even highly dangerous.' His eyes were alarmed. 'It's a good thing you're bulletproof.' I sighed. 'I'm going to need that ring. It's time to tell Charlie.' He laughed at the expression on my face. 'Highly dangerous,' he agreed. He laughed again and then reached into the pocket of his jeans. 'But at least there's no need for a side trip.' He once again slid my ring into place on the third finger of my left hand. Where it would stay-- conceivably for the rest of eternity." Pg 620
